WAR MOVIES ARE FOR MAN-LOVE

Believing in Covid and being unemployed has afforded a few extra minutes to decompress by watching television; specifically, on-demand, streaming television. My go-to, when the kids are asleep and my partner isn’t watching with me is violence. War movies, gritty cop series, historical dramas dealing with conquest and conflict- ALL of it. Why, though? I’m a pretty peaceful person. I abhor violence in real life. Why would I be drawn to such content for entertainment?
